volumetric · 6 tokens · 1080px loops · 16s orbit, camera 5.625° below center level
Each token sings — and each token has a heartbeat. The accent-dot field is a generative sequencer in D major pentatonic, tuned to A=432Hz: dots blinking near their peak strike a crystalline bell tone, every strike landing with a flam grace note, and a quiet climbing line threads between the strikes in plain triplets. Each token's hash writes the score — dot positions set the rhythm, dot identities set the pitches — and deals it a heart rate (60, 82.5, or 105 BPM) that swells each pulse. The 16-second loop repeats exactly. On-chain the music is synthesized live in your browser — tap to unmute, nothing is recorded.
The motion is a 16-second orbit. The camera circles a full 360° at 5.625° below center level while the geometry breathes around it — a fold wave sweeps through twice per loop, the twin core spindles fountain outward with a helical twist, igniting at each fold peak, and wave-struck Fibonacci shells ripple from the two foci. Every motion is phase-locked to the loop, so the end lands exactly where the beginning was.
From flat to volume. Touring grew out of the Tidal Geometries 2D series — same hash family, same trait DNA. Where Tidal was a flat orbital ring-lattice on two seeded foci, Touring extrudes it into depth: the rings become Fibonacci shells, the grid becomes a 3D lattice, the accent dots become a blinking star field, and the core becomes twin fountain spindles. An early heightfield study was scrapped — it went edge-on twice per orbit — and the volumetric approach is what survived.
